How to add widgets to the page/post editing screen

Hi All,

I am looking for a plugin that would allow me to add widgets (mainly text boxes) on the right side or bottom of the post & page editor screen.

The idea behind this is that I need to teach some users on how to use WordPress and I want them to have good tips on these areas. Also it would work as a quick reference on how to use short-codes from different plugins and how they are.

I don’t want to touch the code or CSS (I am not a developer), I would like this to be managed through a plugin that would not affect the content if Word-press or the plugin itself gets updated.
