Hi guys and thanks for an amazing plugin. We’re using the plugin ‘WooCommerce EU VAT Assistant’ in combination with ‘WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips’ (Pro).

I have the following problem: I need to add a VAT number to a completed order, so that I can show it on the invoice as well. There are 2 custom fields in the Woocommerce back-end that seem relevant for this, namely ‘vat_number’ which is empty, and ‘is_vat_exempt’ which is set to ‘no’. However, when I try to fill in the VAT number here, and set is_vat_exempt to ‘yes’, then hit ‘update’ under the order actions, the fields are cleared again.

This happens for both completed orders as well as orders with status pending payment. Can you please help me to get the VAT number saved correctly in the order?

    Thanks in advance!

    Jurian

Hi there, my apologies, I now understand that I just needed to add the VAT number under the billing information as opposed to the custom field. Afterwards the VAT number would show on the invoice just fine.

However, the vat number is not saved in the back-end properly but I’m assuming this is an issue with WooCommerce EU VAT Assistant, so I don’t think I’ll be needing any support after all.

    Thanks!
