i was searching in how to show this plugin in rest api to use with app android but is seem like not working when i try
https://domain.com/wp-json/wp/v2/books
please provide me code to add in function.php

Hi there,
To expose a custom post type to the REST API you will need to add show_in_rest support. Here is a snippet from the WordPress developer docs that describes how to do that:
You may need to use ‘books’ (plural) in the if statement instead of ‘book’ if you find it does not work by default.
