How to Add the Search Box?

  • Hi,

    Do I need a shortcode for the search box to appear? Because I can’t see the search box. I have chosen “Posts” and “Pages” in the “Post types included” panel.

    Hello,

    The issue is that your theme probably comes with several search field.

    In order to choose which one should be attached to the “Live Search”, you need to choose a selector.
    By default WordPress comes with an search input “#s”. If you try the search widget with that selector, it should work just fine ??

    If you don’t find it, please let us know an URL so I can send you the right selector.

    Can you please help me find our selector? The search box we are looking to add it to is on our homepage but our site is locked to outside access. Where can I find it?
