How to add StumbleUpon icon for sharing buttons

That’s the right way. You’ll want to make sure you used a direct link to the image URL, to make sure the image is displayed properly.

If that doesn’t seem to work, could you let me know the image URL you used?

I was trying to use image url from internet first
https://loebig.files.wordpress.com/2013/10/stumbleupon.png?w=176

as well was downloading and adding to my website media gallery and trying to take from there.

but in the both ways – it was showing only X instead of icon:(

This worked in my tests:
