How can I add students having the email? (I have to import students from my old platform to the new one I made with TUTOR)

You can use 3rd party plugin to import users on your current website. Then you can enroll them in a course. For that you need to enable the Enrollment add-on from the Tutor LMS add-ons page.

The “enrollment” plugin allows me to add STUDENTS to a course. So how do I make a USER of the site a STUDENT?

You can enroll any user to any course with the add-on. On Tutor LMS a user became student after enrolling in a course.

If I add them as users, they are not automatically students, how do they add students?

Adding a user to WordPress doesn’t assign them student role. You can enroll them as student with the help of “Enrollments” addon.
