I would like to add ‘Rich Snippet’ Schema for separate sections within a web page – I have read there is a Block element where you can add the schema but I can’t see how to do that.

For example, I would like to have A FAQ section.

I can see how to add the FAQ Element Block – but I can’t see how to add the Rich Snippet Schema to it.

The website uses WP Bakery Page Builder

    Many thanks

    Hello Gemini23,

Thanks for reaching out about your site’s rich snippet.

The Yoast SEO plugin outputs the necessary schema.org structured data for your pages for it to be eligible to output as a rich result. You can learn more about it at https://yoast.com/help/implementing-schema-with-yoast-seo/.

So, if you’ve already configured the schema settings for the Yoast SEO plugin in the backend, it should output the schema.org structured data for you automatically. This might also be something you would want to test out in the Rich Results Tool — https://search.google.com/test/rich-results.

    Thanks for your prompt reply.

I can see the Page-level Yoast Schema but I cannot see how to add the ‘Structured Data Block’ in the WP Bakery Page Editor within the page.

    As shown here

Thanks for following up. I see that you are referring to the Yoast How-to structured data block. You can only use this with the default WordPress content editor and not a page builder like WP Bakery.

    I see… Thanks for that.

As a follow-up – I see that the ‘Titles and Meta’ isn’t showing the Yoast menu – is this still being used?

I see on some old pages it is shown as the following but not on mine…

    SEO
    Dashboard
Titles & Meta (this is missing on mine)
    Social
    XML SItemap

I suspect that you are running an outdated version of the plugin on those old pages. Please update to version 17.7. Does this resolve the issue?

You can edit the title and meta description for each post or page in the Yoast SEO metabox under the default WordPress content editor.

    Thanks!
