How to add static jpeg image to sidebar?

  • I want to add an image to my right sidebar that will link to a mailing list sign-up and am not sure what to modify in my stylesheet and sidebar.php template file?

  • You have to put the code in your sidebar file in the place you want it to appear, below this and above that.

    In terms of specific settings and code adjustments, no generic answer is possible since every theme does things differently. Your best bet is add the image to the sidebar file and try to adjust the CSS as needed. If you find you need further help, you can post the URL on this forum and someone will be able to see exactly what tweak your page needs. Without that it is just theoretical.
