    Hi,

Is there any way to add some content (html code) below the player, when the fancybox pop-up is open? I have added a screenshot to understand more easily

I tried searching in the plugin files, but I can’t seem to find the right place to add it.

    thank you so much

  • What kind of media are you embedding? A Youtube or other video platform URL? Or an embedded player as inline content?

    YouTube link

    thanks!

Hi, no that’s not possible. You can add a title attribute to the link (use the Edit as HTML option) but the title cannot contain HTML…

    thanks for the answer.

I don’t understand why – that is some valuable space there that could be used in many ways. can this custom work be done by you (for a price)?

Well, the thing is that the light box script can handle HTML but the tricky part is passing HTML to the script without going “outside” the normal WordPress interface… Do you have many images that need HTML underneath?

actually, I just want to display some ads there, one code above the Youtube video player and one below. it is the perfect location for ads. struggling to pay the bills, the CTR of the ads is so low that I’m trying everything…

I believe many publishers are in the same situation, so such a feature will surely benefit most of the website owners, and it’s also not so bad for visitors.

    thank you

Ok, I see… You could try the Inline Content option. It will not allow the video to autoplay but it will allow you to put your ad code above and below the video player. See https://premium.status301.com/knowledge-base/easy-fancybox/inline-content/ for steps to set it up…

thank you, but that is not an option for me. I have many fancy boxes already, I cannot add a unique id to them.

What I need is to be able to directly edit a file in your plugin, to add some code so that it will show directly on all lightboxes. This code is the same, so it doesn’t need unique, it’s the same for all lightboxes. Do you not think that is valuable space for publishers and how they could benefit from it? Probably more buys of your premium plugin if this would be a premium feature ??

Is there no file that can be directly edited? I am determined to have this, as its potential is big.

Please tell me if you can provide such a modification at a cost and where to contact you.

    much appreciated

I will consider it a feature request for the Pro version then ??

You can contact me on https://status301.net/contact/ so I can send you a dev version for testing after I have found some time to work on it? Probably end of the month…

Hi, yes this is still being worked on but I encountered some difficulties in implementation. I hope to get a working test version soon and let you know ??
