How to add Search Bar & Feature Image problem

    So my customizer has finally started working again (yay!)

    Since the update the featured image on other pages seem to be working only as a background, ie the text goes in front on the picture and i dont have a photo at the top of the page.

    Id love a solution to this please!
    I do use siteorigin and not sure if this is affecting it or not.

    Also is there a way to add a search bar in the header? Even the menu doesnt have the option of a search bar and I can not find a plug in for a top bar with a search bar.

    The website is still in maintenance mode.

    Here is a screenshot of the website. Id love to have search function in the header ( there is also a top bar right at the top that would be even better to have that function in). This one also shows whats happening to the featured image at the back

    This isn’t part of the theme’s built-in functionality. Likely it is a result of a plugin. If you disable the plugins and create a new page, your featured images should work as shown in the theme’s demo. If you find that a plugin was causing this, you’ll want to create a support thread in that plugin’s forum.

    You should be able to do that by adding a widget area to the header. This plugin might work for that purpose:

    If so, you can add a search widget to that widget area.

    You’ll need to create a child theme so that the changes you make to the header.php file aren’t overwritten when the theme is updated.
