How to add reCaptcha to a Custom HTML Form?

Does anyone know how this can be done?

Also, why are topics being closed on this plugin when they have not been answered? It appears that the author has stopped responding to any questions.

Can anyone tell me of a good replacment that can still use custom HTML?
