    Hi,

You can try the meta key ‘profile_photo’ with Image Upload field.

I also answered your question in this thread:

    Thanks for the response Champ.

Tried the ‘profile_photo’ meta key and got the error

Your meta key is a predefined reserved key and cannot be used

So I’m guessing that’s been reserved by WP

    Hi Ososoba,

It is not currently possible to upload a profile photo from registration page. This is somethine we hope to offer in future though.

    Thanks

    News?
    Is very important option

In the meantime, an easy workaround is to collect the rest of your user data on the registration form, then redirect the user to his/her profile after successful login where the profile photo may be uploaded.

    Good luck!

Has there been any movement on this feature whatsoever? I am very much interested in allowing users of a site I am working on to be able to set their profile image during the registration process, as it is a vital piece of the community functionality on the site.

It would be very good to be able to do that.

It seems like this is a very popular request. I am wondering why UM is not giving a date on this? Also, is it more complicated than it seems?

It’s very important option ! An update is planned? Thanks

Any updates on this? We’ve acquired a license and it’s pretty frustrating to not have this as a registration option already. UM Team?
