    How can I add this code to my header html using a function? I need to add this to a childtheme.

    Sorry for the late response,
    i do not understand your use case here, are you trying to embed our Live Chat Widget to your WordPress Site, in that case you can go ahead and install the plugin and link your account by logining in to your account from the plugin.
