How to add php functionality

    Hi,

    I’ve installed your theme on localhost on my computer to learn and test few things first.

    What I would like to do is to add a input type=”text” and button, when a button is clicked it will run php code and calls external API database search and display the result.
    Example: Enter your country: UK
    when click submit Result will display general information about UK.
