How to add PDF Image (not just link) to a blog post

Hi! I’d like to know if there is a way to add a PDF file image to my blog post and not just a link to the PDF file for readers to download and preview/print. I’ve got that figured out (the text link) but want a little preview of what the image will be to encourage readers to actually download and print. Kind of like a .JPG appears but only it’s a PDF file. I’ve already got it uploaded to my Media Gallery so how do I display it as an image in the post? TIA for your help!
