I usually write long, very long posts. So for people it becomes tiring job to read everything on a single page. For this reason I’d like to break posts into parts and interlink them, maybe using pagination but WordPress doesn’t have any facility to do this. Does anyone know how to add pages to posts?

Yes it does. It’s called the <!--nextpage--> tag and is represented by the icon showing 2 pages with a dotted line between them in the Visual Editor.

Hey I would like to know if it’s possible to create a page of posts which shows posts with excerpts (not whole posts) and ‘read more’ link and with thumbnails or featured images? I tried creating PageOfPosts templates but it didn’t work for me.
