So I am re-working this site with Visual Composer. What you see on the link is much of the original work without Visual Composer.

I didn’t create this site and I am re-working it by myself without any help from the original creator.

I want to duplicate much of the text and change pictures.

When I go to type the text “TU- Technical Union…. ” and so… the text comes too close to the gray and white lines on the left side.

How can I make the text more to the right with Visual Composer as shown on the original page link?

    Hi @tu586

    Thanks for contacting us.

Can you please share the page url where you are working on, so we can check the setup?

The page url shared by previously: https://www.tu.biz/ is built using WPBakery Page Builder plugin: https://wpbakery.com/

That is correct https://www.tu.biz is the site and front page I am working on.

I have no idea of what the guy who built it worked with.

The website is mine and I am looking to change a few things with Visual Composer.

I can add new lines with Visual composer on the bottom and I could delete the top.

I would like a similar look while changing a few things.

Right now I would like to know how to add a line with padding on the side so the text isn’t so close to where the white and gray color meet.

    Hi,

The page: https://www.tu.biz/ is built using WPBakery Page Builder plugin. Due to this, it’s content cannot be edited using Visual Composer Website Builder plugin to add a padding/margin to it. In this case, there are two options:

    1) If you want to edit the existing content, you can contact the WPBakery Page Builder support: https://support.wpbakery.com/ so that the support team can guide you on editing it.

    2) You can delete the existing page content and re-build it using Visual Composer Website Builder text block and image elements. By doing so, you can then add a padding left to text block via it’s design options to add a spacing on left.

    Thanks

    Questions:

    1.

Assuming I don’t want to Edit the existing text, but I want to “add text” with Visual Composer. How can I add the text and have padding so the text isn’t so close to the gray and white lines on the side?

    2.

Assuming that I can’t use Visual Composer for this site… Can I get a refund of my purchase?

It doesn’t work adding spacing on left.. it moves the entire and the new line below starts back close to the gray and white line.

    Hello,

    Thanks for replying back.
You can add the text via text block element and then give it a padding left via it’s design option to add space towards the left side. If there is any issue in doing so, then please open a ticket via our support portal: https://visualcomposer.com/support and our support team will be glad to guide you with the same.
