How to add Notes section in invoice

Have you tried adding a Notes section as a custom field for Invoices? You can do it from Jetpack CRM > CRM Settings > Custom fields and then add it to the Invoice Custom Fields section – see this screenshot.

You’d get is something similar to what this screenshot shows, with a ‘Notes’ field on the right end of the invoice.

Yes that works but will it show on the pdf version of the invoice because I don’t think it did when I checked.

You’re correct, and I was able to replicate that on my end too. I asked our developers to understand if this is a bug or if I’m missing something out.

It turned out that you need to add the note field to the invoice template in order for it to show in the Client Portal and in the PDF:

The reason why notes don’t show up there by design is merely tied to privacy and security reasons, in case you want to add a private note that your customer don’t need to read.
