How to add new tab to media upload manager with custom set of images?

  • I have been working on a plugin that would add a new tab on the media upload manager / modal with custom set of images (images are inside the plugin folder being called using JSON).

    Can someone point me to the right direction for this one? I’ve tried the wp_iframe approach but that wasn’t exactly what I am looking for. I’ve noticed some backbone.js codes while searching though.
