how to add more main categories on front page ?

You can display more than four posts in a specific category. To do so, navigate to the respective widget area and change the value of the Number of Posts to be displayed as five or more, as shown in the screenshot here: https://prnt.sc/9n80Am42fLZe

Doing so will display the number of posts added to the frontend area. If you still get the issue on your end, please share the screenshot, and I will get back to you.

firstly thank you for your response.

no, its not the number of posts, its the number of categories displayed on the front page, in colormag you can show 4 categories on the front page, i want to show 5 or 6.

(thats 4 categories with the posts shown within it)

i looked at other colormag themes that are linked to in this forum such as –

& i think they both have more than 4 of the categories on the front page.

because i cant see another category there.

i have watched it a few times.

there is another post below the “technology” category, but it has no “heading” – such as “technology”

is that the new category ?

How can i share a video when i dont understand what the video is doing & i did not see it adding another category ?

i think it would have been better to give instructions like this

instead of trying to follow what you are doing & scrolling up & down the page at the same time.

would it be possible to do this from the beginning ?

are the “Featured Category” just at the top or bottom ?

you mentioned the “guideline” – is this written instructions to do the above ?
