I feel like a complete idiot but I can’t seem to find all these promised “point and click” marker creation tools, and the screenshots you show I also can’t find anything like that. Is that the premium version of the plugin?

How do I get to a screen where I can edit the markers and the map etc…

    Thanks

    Hi there!

Do you see a “Google Maps” menu setting? If not, you may need to adjust the menu position display setting located: /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=google_maps&page=gmb_settings&tab=general_settings

Please let me know if adjusting this setting makes the menu appear for you!

    Hi man,

yeah I pretty much realised after I’d posted this question that it wasn’t showing up in the menu cos it was too far down. I just changed it’s position and I was good to go. Now I agree, it really is a great plugin. Solved my problem.

Another question. How can I use the google api to style the map. I know how to adjust the settings for google maps api but I didn’t know the best way to do this with your plugin. I know it has some built in themes but I’d rather just style myself.

    Thanks!

Right now there’s not really an easy way to style the maps by yourself. You would have to add a custom map theme, which the plugin does not yet have capabilities to add. Nice request though, I’ll add this to the roadmap.
