How to add Mail Chimp email capture to a button

  • I am using MaxButtons to provide a link to a free PDF download. I would like to add an email capture script from MailChimp, requiring users to first register before getting the download.

    I haven’t been able to find a way to accomplish this in the MaxButton plug-in.
    And frankly, this is the first time I have tried to set up an email capture at all.

    I am open to any and all suggestions on how to facilitate an email capture prior to PDF download, using any form of a button.
