How to add just image from latest post to static homepage

  • Hello there,

    I have an image slider on my static home page and I wish to have one of the slides as the image from my latest post. (the other slides will have difference images, unrelated to the blog)

    Could anyone tell me how to do this, I think it may involve query_posts, not sure…brain not quite awake yet.

    Any help much appreciated.

  • What format are these images in? Could you not just post it as an image. I’m trying to understand what you’re trying to do.
