How to add JavaScript in wordpress page?

    Hello

    I would like to add some JavaScript code on my word press individual page in script block.
    But when i am publishing the page the <script type=”text/JavaScript”> tag is stripped out automatically.

    can you help me why this is going on ????????

    Hi,
    I have gone through Using Javascript link.
    But my problrm is that when i am updating the code in dashboard editor. It’s stripped out script tag.

    If you want to use mroe than html code in the WYSIWYG editor you should install a plugin can’t remember what its called but i would say generally best practice would be to create a new page template
