how to add .htacess to the word press page

    What I am looking for, i can ask the user name and password and after clicking submit then access the page.

    like .htaccess.

    Hi,

    You can do it via simple code in the page..and ask username and password and match with the details which you want..if it is ok then go ahead otherwise resume next..

    You can match the details with wp_users login details too..
