How to add font awesome icon to menu

  • I am trying to add the fa-home icon to my evolve theme menu item. I have added ‘fa-home’ to the CSS Classes field of the menu item, but the icon does not show.

    If I install the Font Awesome 4 Menus plugin, the fa-home icon does show, but only on the sticky menu, not the normal menu display.

    I am using Evolve Version: 3.4.3.

    Appreciate any help.

    So, although the evolve theme includes Font Awesome icons, can I conclude that the way the evolve theme menus works, it would require custom coding to show Font Awesome icons correctly in the menus.
