How to add external thumbnails to Arras Theme?

    i am using arras theme for a wallpaper site. all the images shown on the site need to be on my server. i have managed to solve slider situation by uploading a plugin which uses external links too. but in the node base style the thumbnail is not showing for the posts.

    how can i fix that situation? there should be a way of that since i use external thumbnails on my video site with different theme.
