How to add external link to download

    Hi there,

    I would like to ask how to add external link for download. I don’t want to upload my digital freebies to web,because it takes too much space. I basically want only to get link for external download. Is there any easy way how to do that?

  • Hello,

    I assume you wish to link to files or download links to 3rd party websites? If that is the cause then our plugin won’t be the best solution. You may try adding the link to the 3rd party site in the file URL section and set “Redirect to File” option in the edit download page, but I can’t guarantee if that would work.

    Our plugin is more suited for files you host on your website, Google Drive or Amazon S3.

    thank you for your answer. I checked your plugins and I will purchase Google Drive probably. I need to upload bigger size files, so I don’t want to do it through my page, but I have Google Drive for that. So it will work with your Google Drive Plugin, wont it? Thank you for your help!
