How to add excerpts to posts

    Hi,
    I am using Justwrite theme. In my post list, the content of the posts gets displayed. Instead I want 1-2 line excerpt to be displayed.
    Please tell me how can I achieve this.

  • Hi ckadmin,

    if your theme supports excerpts then you can go to your posts page in WordPress admin panel and should have a common setting on top to allow excerpts on all posts. If it is not there, then you can click on individual posts and can insert excerpt using the button on top bar just above the text of the post. If your theme does not suppport excerpts, then we can add some css code for it.
