I’m sorry if I’m being stupid, I feel like I’ve read all the rest API documentation, but I really need a clear example of how to add an event from scratch via REST. For example ID is required but how do you know what the ID is going to be, isn’t it incremental? Do you have to add a post via WordPress first and then add it as an event via rest?

    Thanks,

    Caroline

Hey @localgrr, thanks for reaching out!

Though we’re limited to the support we can provide, our knowledgebase has a great article about getting started with REST API: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/introduction-events-calendar-rest-api/

    Take care,
