How to add event date to permalink?

    What URL format do I need to add the event’s date to its permalink URL?
    I tried #_EVENTDATES but it added the literal text #_EVENTDATES instead of the actual event date.

    I want my URL to be /event/#_EVENTDATES-#_EVENTNAME
