How to add elements to new blank page?

I’m stuck! I’ve never built a page using just code. I’ve got a page that I want to make a table or list of retailers with links. Possibly using their logos etc. In Dreamweaver I would just pop a table in there and add images and I’d be off and running. Here I’m just staring a blank page with no option to just insert a table! Not being a coder is there a way this can be done, or do I have to learn how to do it from scratch? (html code way)
