    For example: On Mailchimp, we created a group on mail chimp for “Choose Class Dates” and added group options for September, October, November, etc…

    Now we want to add a (required) drop-down list on the sign-up form so user will have to select a class date, so this way they will be added to the group for that class date option. And we can send any updates/reminders to those group members for any given class date.

    Mailchimp has a form builder that allows to do this. Is there any way we can integrate such a feature into our sign up form for this plugin? It seems do-able via API.

    First create the interest group in your Mailchimp.com account under Audience > Settings.

    Then in your WordPress admin go to MC4WP > Mailchimp and click “Renew Mailchimp lists” to pull in the latest changes you made.

    Now go to MC4WP > Form > Fields, and click the name of the interest group above the form builder to insert that into the form, it will show you some options on how to add it (eg checkboxes or drop down etc).
