How to add “description” parameter to shortcode

    I would like to add “description” (not an excerpt!) to the shortcode (to Item list not category).

    Description field (with built-in tiny MCE editor) can be edited or customized, but an excerpt only is just one paragraph (can’t even add new line…).

    Is there a way to do it, or to add a special parameter to add in the shortcode?

    Hello there! 

    I sure get what you’re trying to complete, but I have to disappoint you because there’s no plugin functionality that allows you to display a menu item description (not an excerpt) on the list with menu items, unfortunately. And yes, formatting options for excerps are not available, I’m afraid. 

    We keep that in mind for future plugin releases if we collect more similar questions or requests from other customers.
