• Hello,

    I’ve got a little problem..
I never worked with the WYSIWYG editor-view before because i can write content in html, only problem right now is i’m building a website for somebody who doesn’t know anything about html so this person would really love to work in a WYSIWYG editor.

At this point my layout is completed for 90% and now i would like to build all the typography-styles that belongs to each pages or posts.
What i would like to have is my own custom styles to pick from in the admin page at NEW post-/page.

At a fresh WP install we have this drop down menu with only a few regular style to pick from, (p, address, pre-formatted, heading1 and heading2) but i would like to add my own custom style into that drop down menu.
How can i pull this off?

I would like to have a few different heading 2’s.
One with a margin-bottom of 25px. and some other with a margin-bottom 35px in the stylesheet. Just like adding a class to it.

I have found a few pages that explained how to add and delete some headings but not how to create your own custom styles and add them to this list.
    like: h2 .class-name

Can someone point me to the right page for this?
    Thanks,
    BJ

  • Hi BJ,

Did you find the answer to your problem? I have the same. There are some plugins that claim to add functionality to tinyMCE but I’m not sure that any of them add items to the format drop down list.

    Good luck
    ;D

Don’t worry, I found another post and used a plugin.
