    Hi,

I have just installed Simple:press and have uploaded custom smileys to the correct folder. They show in the Manage Custom Smileys area but are all marked as unused.

I am unable to change them to used. I read the tooltip that says:

“Apart, of course, from the actual image file, smileys require an identifying name and a code. Codes are most usually entered prefixed and suffixed with a colon – for example ”.

But I cannot find any instructions, even using Google, on how and where to add the codes. Does anyone else know?

    Thank you ??

    Hi!

If you click on the little plus-sign (+) to the right on each smiley a small panel opens up and you can activate the image and set a short code to use in the editor (like :smile).

When confirming this right now, I noticed that we seem to have a bug that sometimes makes the button inactive. If you encounter this, reloading the page should fix it.

We will add this bug to the task list for next release.

Thank you, I found that option ??

Though the constant refreshing is a pain. I wouldn’t mind so much if the page itself refreshed, but the whole forum does and you have to go clicking about to get back to the smileys.

Yes, we will definitely fix the bug in the next release and we are also looking into how we can keep track of where you are when the page is reloaded.
