How to add custom javscript and css across WP network?

    Hi,

    Is there a way I can add a custom script and style file to all the websites in my multi site network and admin panel regardless of the theme they are using?

    As far as I understand the best way to add custom scripts and styles is by registering them in the functions.php file but there are a lot of sites in my network and it would be difficult for me to edit functions.php file for all the themes.

    In other words is there a global configuration that I can set to include a set of scripts and files for all the pages in my network?
