HOw to add CSS to H2 but not H2 in Home

  • I want to target H2 titles with CSS but not on the home page
    I’ve tried h2:not(.home) it it still target h2’s from home page

    What would be the right selector for pages or single posts?

  • You may want to try the following. NOTE: This is assuming you are using the Gutenberg block editor and the homepage is a page and not post archive. Go to the customizer and navigate to General > Typography. Set the H2 to your preferred size that will apply to all H2 throughout the website (both pages and posts) and publish (see screenshot 1). Then navigate to the homepage and edit the H2 headings to your preference via the block editor (see screenshot 2). This is one approach you could use without digging into the CSS.
