  • Hey Giovanni,

Do you have a caching plugin running? If so, be sure that you’re clearing it.

    Hi Kevin,
I don’t have, I am going to add cache plugin?

Are the settings being reflected within the theme options? Does the footer text show up in Misc Settings but not on your actual site?

    Hi Kevin,
yes, it shows in misc settings but not on actual site
    Footer Copyright Text
Write your own copyright text here. You can use the following shortcodes in your footer text: [copyright] [site-name] [the-year]
Copyright: All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logo and software is the property of “Spice of Life Industries” and is protected by UK copyright laws. The contents and software on this site may be used as a shopping resource. Any other use including, the reproduction, modification, distribution, or transmission is strictly prohibited.

    Hey,
I see code missing from the templates/footer.php file. Did you edit that?

    Hello Ben,
No I did not edit that. I just copy it from the misc text message and field. I don’t place anything in the footer.php file, what is the code should I place in the footer? I want this message to appear in the footer “Copyright: All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logo and software is the property of “Spice of Life Industries” and is protected by UK copyright laws. The contents and software on this site may be used as a shopping resource. Any other use including, the reproduction, modification, distribution, or transmission is strictly prohibited.”

Have you made any changes through appearance> editor to that theme file? If there is missing code from that file, then the footercredits potentially wont display properly.

Are you using a child theme at all?

    -Kevin
