How to add category thumbnails ?

  • Hello, when I create a new category on my website, I want to also pick a picture for the category that I create. I tried adding this function to my functions.php but it didn’t work. How to properly add theme support for category thumbnails ?

    Current code that I am using which didn’t work:
    add_theme_support('category-thumbnails');
