How to Add Category Templates

  • I installed this plugin to help me edit the look of the category pages. I installed it with no problem and I see the option to select a “Category Template” under “Edit Product Category” but there are no other options other than “Default Template.” How do I add more templates to the list?

    I am using WooCommerce V2.4.5 and Advanced Category Template V0.1

  • From the “Installation” notes of the plugin:

    To create new custom category Template you need to put the new file in the same directory/folder as your index.php and just need to add comment (Category Template: Your New Category Template Name) in your new category template (please find the same in the screenshots attached) file same as you do for page template.
