How to add Captcha

  • How can I add captcha in subscribe2 form.
    Lots of spam email are coming from subscribe2 form, can you please guide me to short out the issue.

    This is not easily possible without directly editing the plugin code.

    Basic anti-spam is included and enabled by default. The process of registering is also double-opt-in, so users need to enter an email address in the form and then click a link in an email received at that address. If the link isn’t clicked in 4 weeks the email address is automatically removed.

    It might be worth simply installing the Bad Behavior plugin to reduce bot access to your site.
