How to add another language pages to a theme like underscores

  • Hey Guys,
    I have created my page with the underscores theme, so basically I have coded all the css, html and JS by myself. Now I wanted to add another language to my site, so visitors see an english flag at the top and when they click it, all pages appear in english.

    I thought about using the polylang Plugin but since the text is hardcoded and not written in the editor, I am not quiet sure how to do that. Any ideas?
