How to add an element?

Hello. I’m new to this bold editor. I’m editing a page in section 4 and need to add an element. A button to be exact. So how do i add it? I only get the + with the circle on the top row of the section and if i click that it only adds a new row to the bottom of the section. I cannot find any help in the forum or any documentation that is useful. So far it does not seem to be as easy as WP Bakery which took time to figure out. Even moving sections is not easy as you cannot just drag them and place them between other sections. I had to clone them and delete others in between. Such a pain. Any help would be appreciated.
