How to add a url to the footer text

In your code, where you see

<div class="copyright">
?  Voetbalschool Hilterman 2015 - Webdesign door MMCreaties
</div>

Change it to

<div class="copyright">
?  Voetbalschool Hilterman 2015 - <a href="https://mywebsiteurl.com">Webdesign door MMCreaties</a>
</div>

yes but how do i set this up in the CSS file i tried:

.footer #copyright {
? Voetbalschool Hilterman 2015 – Webdesign door MMCreaties
</div>;
}

But it wont work

You need to modify your footer template, not the CSS file. Look for a file called footer.php in your theme directory.

That’s not how you use CSS.

I think that you will need to take a look at a footer.php and tinker with the code in there.

If you do get brave and have a go, keep a back-up copy of the file so that you can roll back any changes when it goes wrong.

Make sure that any changes to theme files are ONLY made in a child theme – otherwise all the changes will be wiped out when the theme is updated.

To modify the footer.php file, make a copy of that file in the child theme and make the changes there.

This is my footer text in the footer.php , i already looked into it but didnt find my text anywher:

It looks like the copyright text is a setting for your theme.

thats right so its not possible?
