How to add a top menu item

  • Hi,

    It may be because I’m trying to do this on my phone, or maybe I’m just thick, but I cannot see how to add a top menu item! I was guessing this would be the very first option but I only seem able to hide menu items, not add them. Can you point me in the right direction, please?

    Hi!

    It’s not really recommended to manage the settings on the phone! Please use your PC instead, if possible. You can find it on Admin Menu tab, “Add New Menu Items” section.

    Yes, I normally do! One question: am I able to prioritise which icons display on the WP admin top bar when in responsive mode on a small screen? I’d like to make sure my custom link/icon is displayed along with the other three that WP automatically prioritises (BBPress, new post etc).
