How to add a sidebar in my theme?

  • Hey fellows,
    I use a theme which displays a standar sidebar ,like the sidebar is displayed when a blog is just installed.The theme i use ,doesn`t show any widgets in the admin pannel.I canot modify anything which is located in the sidebar,no widgets ,nothing.
    Can anyone one provide me with the code that will make the sidebar editable and show in the admin pannel the widgets and make it possible to add -remove widgets?
