How to Add a Search Function to a Custom Theme

    Hi all,

    I have created a wonderful little WordPress custom theme, and I am in the middle of trying to add a search function to it, but I am having trouble figuring out how to go about this.
    I realize that most wordpress themes have a search built in, but because mine is custom, I do not have this luxury…

    Help!

  • I think twentyten is the most verbose WordPress theme on explaining what a block of code is doing. So, I suggest start looking into the source code of twentyten theme, and try to compare with yours.
