How to add a Post Sidebar

    VW-ECommerce free theme – I can add a sidebar to a page, but how do I add a sidebar to a post? I need to get some AdSense ads running but can only do it on Pages.

    Hello @needsomewphelp,

    To display the sidebar in a post you have to select the layout, for that go to Appearance >> Customizer >> VW Settings >> General Settings and click the radio button of “Right Sidebar”. So that it can show the sidebar on the single post page.

    I do have it set that way. One post has a sidebar, all the rest don’t. Anything else to check?

    Hello @needsomewphelp,

    Go to Appearance >> Widgets, their are 3 widgets section for sidebar i.e Blog Sidebar, Page Sidebar & Sidebar 3.

    For adding widgets in sidebar you have to drag & drop the widget where you want to show the sidebar i.e. in Blog Sidebar(for posts) or in Page Sidebar(for pages).

    I can send a screenshot if it helps, but I already have my adsense code in Appearance>>Widgets>>Blog Sidebar>Custom HTML

    The adsense only shows on 1 of my 6 published posts. Shouldn’t it show in all 6?
