How to Add a Page Without It Showing Up As a Tab

  • I need to create a variety of pages on my WordPress site but I don’t want many of these pages to appear at the top of my screen as a tab for people to click on. For example, I need to create a “thank you” page that has a specific URL but it shouldn’t appear anywhere on the site, either as a tab or link. Does anyone know how to do this? It seems like a simple and common thing to do, but I don’t see any option to make this happen.

    If I set a page as Private, will this do the trick? Setting a Page as Private makes it disappear but I’m wondering if other people will be able to access the page. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
